The Community Rules and Guidelines

Last updated on October 17, 2023.

We get it, rules can be a drag, and nobody really likes reading them. But here at the server, we've crafted a set of rules that balance freedom with responsibility. While we're not aiming to be overly strict, it's important to note that some rules carry consequences like formal warnings, disqualification from text and voice chat leaderboards, chat mutes, server mutes/timeouts, or even a kick or ban from the server if necessary.

These rules are divided into categories to keep things organized. We have the general server rules, text chat rules, and voice chat rules. If you ever have a question about a rule or think we should add or remove one, don't be shy—share your thoughts in the ︰suggestions channel or reach out to us through tickets or DMs.

Before we dive into the specifics, there's one crucial point we want to emphasize: Discord has its own terms and community guidelines that we all must follow. Breaking Discord's TOS or guidelines will lead to removal from our server. Take a moment to read and understand Discord's TOS at discord.com/terms and the community guidelines at discord.com/guidelines. Your compliance is greatly appreciated!

1: General Server Rules

As mentioned earlier, the general server rules form the primary set of guidelines. These rules are applicable throughout the entire server, spanning DMs, text chats and voice channels.

1.1: No Raids or Malicious Activity

Engaging in server raids, attempting to destroy or disrupt servers, or participating in any malicious activities, including discussing them, is strictly prohibited. Such actions go against Discord's terms and guidelines and are not tolerated here. Whether it's an actual raid or just a discussion about it, it's not welcome.

This rule encompasses:
Raids or malicious activities within Bibby World and Partnered servers.
Raids or malicious activities within servers of other recognized members in the Bibby World community.
Mentioning, bringing up, or discussing attempted or successful raids or malicious server activities.

Definitions:
Server Raid: When a large number of users or bots join a server simultaneously with disruptive or malicious intentions.
Malicious Server Activity: Any passive attempts to gain staff roles with the intent of server destruction or manipulating server staff into such actions.

1.2: No Discrimination or Racism

Discriminating against any individual based on their race, religion, ethnicity, or disability in chat or voice chat is strictly prohibited. It's a matter of common sense: treat everyone with respect. We understand that playful banter is part of the fun, but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed. Put yourself in others' shoes – how would it feel to be targeted for your race, religion, or disability? It's not a joke when it's personal.

This rule encompasses:
Singling out or showing disrespect to a member based solely on their race.
Disrespecting a religion or discriminating against it by targeting its deity.
Unnecessarily bringing up or repeatedly discussing a member's disability to insult or make fun of them.

Definitions:
Discrimination: Unjust or prejudicial treatment of individuals based on factors such as religion, race, ethnicity, or disability.

1.3: No Sexual Harassment or Inappropriate Advances

This rule is crystal clear: there's no place for sexual harassment or inappropriate sexual advances here. This isn't a dating server, so it's essential to maintain a respectful and comfortable atmosphere for everyone. Whether it's extreme inappropriate comments, unwelcome advances, or any actions that cross the line, we won't tolerate it. Remember, it's crucial to respect others' boundaries and consent.

This rule encompasses:
Making advances or comments involving rape or similar actions.
Engaging in extreme or inappropriate sexual advances or remarks directed at another member solely based on their gender.
Initiating or continuing sexual advancements without the other person's consent or interest.

Definitions:
Sexual Harassment: Any unwelcome or inappropriate sexual behavior, comments, advances, or requests that create a hostile, uncomfortable, or intimidating environment for others.

1.4: No NSFW or Inappropriate Content

This is not a NSFW server, so NSFW and inappropriate content should be avoided. Light NSFW content with a humorous touch is permissible, but content that goes beyond this limit is strictly prohibited in any chat. This includes explicit images, sexual content, pornography, inappropriate photos, gore, or any other form of NSFW content. Refrain from sending NSFW material via messages, your username, profile pictures, banners, statuses, or any other public display.

This Rule Also Covers:
Ensuring that NSFW or inappropriate content is not visible in your name, profile pictures, banners, statuses, or messages.

Definitions:
NSFW (Not Safe For Work): Content, such as images, videos, or discussions, that is explicit, sexually suggestive, or contains graphic material unsuitable for a public environment.
Inappropriate Content: Material, language, or discussions that are offensive, offensive, or unsuitable for the community's intended audience, often violating established guidelines or standards.

1.5: No Threats of Violence or Promotion of Extremism

Engaging in discussions involving threats of real-world violence or promoting violent extremism is strictly prohibited in our community. This rule aligns with Discord's community guidelines for public servers and applies to both direct and indirect threats. We emphasize the importance of fostering a safe and respectful environment for all members. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming and safe community where members can interact without fear of violence or extremism. Violations of this rule may result in a mute or removal from the server. Your cooperation in upholding this rule is vital to our collective well-being.

This rule encompasses:
Making explicit or implicit threats to harm another individual or group, regardless of the intent.
Direct or indirect references to using real-world violence against any member, whether in a joking or serious manner.
Initiating or endorsing threats of extreme violence against individuals or groups, as well as supporting or promoting violent extremism.

Definitions:
Violence: Any intentional act or threat involving the use of physical force, including weapons, to cause harm, injury, or endanger the safety of others.
Promotion of Extremism: Advocating, glorifying, or endorsing violent actions, events, or ideologies that incite harm or pose a threat to individuals or society as a whole.

1.6: No DDoS or DOX, Including Attempts or Threats

DDoSing or DOXing any member, attempting to do so, or even making threats in this regard is strictly prohibited. Not only is it against Discord's Terms and Guidelines, but it's also illegal. We have a zero-tolerance policy for such actions, and engaging in them will result in a permanent ban.

Think about it this way: how would you feel if someone had access to your personal information, and threatened to use it against you? It's a serious offense, both morally and legally. So, let's keep our community safe and free from such activities.

This Rule encompasses:
Sharing a member's personal or private information, such as legal names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, IP addresses, card numbers, bank accounts, or any information that could lead to these details being revealed.

Definitions:
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service): Overloading a target with traffic to disrupt it.
DOX: Revealing private info without consent, often malicious.

1.7: No Impersonation or Catfishing

Impersonating anyone, be it influencers, server staff, or others, is not allowed. We also don't tolerate catfishing here. It may seem amusing, but it can cause real issues. Let's keep things straightforward and genuine.

This rule encompasses:
Pretending to be famous influencers, actors, creators, artists, etc.
Posing as a staff member in the server.
Adopting an opposite gender identity to gain favors or advantages.

Definitions:
Impersonation: Assuming someone else's identity, online or offline, with the intent to deceive, mislead, or harm others.
Catfishing: Deceptively creating a fake online persona or identity to deceive others, often for personal, romantic, or fraudulent reasons.

1.8: Selfies Stay in Verified-Selfies Channel

Selfies posted in ︰verified-selfies should remain right there. Reposting them elsewhere in the server or beyond, with the intent to harm, discriminate, or be racist, isn't allowed. Such actions may lead to mutes or bans.

This rule encompasses:
Using a posted selfie to harm or discriminate, causing the person to delete it or leave the server.
Comparing posted selfies to images from other sources.
Using selfies as profile pictures or banners without the person's consent given in chat.
Sharing selfies in other servers or sources without the person's consent given in chat.

1.9: Respect User Boundaries

Respect boundaries of other users. If someone doesn't want to interact with you or has blocked you, don't ping them or escalate situations unnecessarily. While we understand debates and arguments can be part of the fun, it's vital to stay within the rules and guidelines. If a situation arises, and you're asked by the other user to stop, please do so. Don't try to make it more complicated by messaging them. If you're locally muted in a voice chat or blocked by a user, avoid further escalation.

This Rule May Include:
Preventing circumvention of the rule, such as creating alternate accounts to contact blocked users.
Avoiding harassment or excessive messaging even if not explicitly mentioned in the rule.
Respecting staff decisions when they intervene in rule-breaking disputes or arguments.

Definitions:
Escalation: The process of a situation or conflict intensifying or worsening, often due to increasing tension, aggression, or inappropriate behavior.

1.10: Proper Channel Usage

Let's keep things easy for everyone. Use each channel for its intended purpose. For instance, engage in everyday conversations in ︰chat, join ︰international for international languages, and utilize ︰commands for executing commands. Channel topics explain their purpose. It's all about maintaining a clean server where conversations and activities don't overlap.

This Rule May Include:
Preventing circumvention, such as using a channel for unintended purposes to avoid rules.
Ensuring that bot usage doesn't disrupt regular conversations.
Following channel topics as guidelines for usage.

1.11: No Punishment Evasion

If you've been disqualified, chat muted, server muted/timed out, or banned—whether temporarily or permanently—please don't use alternate accounts to evade the punishment. It's important to take responsibility for your actions. If you believe the punishment was unjust, wait it out or follow our appeal process. Using alternate accounts won't be a solution, and we'll take action against those as well. Just so you know, we can tell.

This rule encompasses:
Any form of circumvention, such as using new accounts to bypass punishments.

1.12: No False Reporting Users

Please refrain from making false reports about anyone on the server. It's a time-wasting endeavor for both you and us. We have more productive things to focus on than scrutinizing reports that lack merit. If we identify false reports, you may lose the ability to submit future reports.

This Rule Encourages:
Upholding the principle of honesty in our reporting system.
Engaging in constructive communication rather than using reports as a means to settle personal grievances.
Ensuring that the reporting process is efficient and focused on genuine issues, benefitting the entire community.

1.13: English in the Chats

While we're not too strict about this, it's important to note that we are primarily an English-speaking server. Clarity is key, especially for our staff who help keep things in order. We understand the desire to use other languages occasionally, but if English isn't your primary language or you'd like to converse in another language, head over to ︰international.

This Rule May Include:
Encouraging members to maintain clarity in communication for the benefit of all.
Allowing occasional use of other languages, but emphasizing English for broader understanding.
Ensuring that our staff can effectively moderate and assist members.

1.14: Age Requirement (13+)

To keep things in line with both our rules and Discord's Terms of Service, we kindly ask that you only join and participate in our server if you're 13 years old or older. It's not just a formality – it's a requirement that ensures compliance with the platform's policies. If it comes to light that you're under 13, you may be removed from our server and potentially face restrictions on Discord until you meet the age requirement.

This rule includes:
Emphasizing the importance of adhering to age requirements outlined by Discord's TOS.
Encouraging members to be truthful about their age.
Maintaining a safe and age-appropriate environment for everyone on the server.

1.15: Respect Staff Conduct

We hold professionalism, fairness, and courtesy in high regard, especially when it comes to our dedicated staff members. They work hard to ensure everyone enjoys a positive experience. This rule underlines the significance of treating staff conduct with respect, refraining from harassment, personal attacks, or any form of disrespectful behavior. Avoid bombarding staff members with judgments, questions, or harassment related to moderation decisions or their conduct within the server. Do not pressure staff to reverse moderation actions taken against rule breakers or to engage in any form of misconduct.

This rule encompasses:
Consistently directing hate, threats, or harassment towards staff members.
Falsely reporting staff members in an attempt to demote them or have them removed from their roles.
Interfering with or responding to staff inquiries on behalf of users involved in an ongoing moderation case.
Interfering with staff conduct, including warnings, disqualifications, mutes, kicks, and bans.
Manipulating staff members into violating staff rules or engaging in misconduct.

2: Text Chat Rules

Let's get into the chat rules, which are essentially common sense. If you make sure not to engage in the behaviors listed below in any text chat, you're on the right track. It's crucial to remember that these rules apply universally to all text chats on the server.

2.1: No Chat Filter Bypassing

Respect our chat filter; don't try to bypass it. While we value free speech, we also acknowledge Discord's guidelines, which necessitate this rule. The filter prevents certain prohibited words and inappropriate content. It's not excessively strict, so no complaints. If Discord sends you an internal message blocking a word or link, you've received a formal warning. Continual disregard will result in a mute/timeout. Bypassing or attempting to bypass the chat filter will lead to a server mute or ban.

This rule includes:
Deliberately misspelling blocked words to use them in messages.
Using alternate characters not in the chat filter to sneak in blocked words.
Utilizing spaces or special characters within blocked words.
Mixing languages or alphabets to evade detection by the filter.
Using acronyms or coded language to convey prohibited content.
Making use of any other method to bypass the chat filter's restrictions.

2.2: Respect the Ping Block System

This rule applies to both those using the blocker and those being blocked. The ping block system is designed to prevent unwanted mentions and replies from members who might not be breaking rules but are bothering you. It's a valuable tool for maintaining a peaceful environment. Both the blocker and blocked users should be aware that you can manage your blocked list with ease using the /ping command by Bibby. Users on your ping block list won't be able to mention or reply to your messages, and vice versa. Any attempt to do so will trigger an automatic warning. Persistent misuse may lead to a mute or ban from the server. Please do not misuse this system to target innocent members for removal.

This rule also covers:
Applying ping blocks without providing a valid reason for the block.
Soliciting or attempting to solicit users on your block list to mention you or reply to your messages.
Taking conflicts with users on your block list outside of the server in an effort to get them removed.

2.3: No Spamming – Text, Links, Emojis, Stickers, or @Mentions

Spamming in any form is a no-go in all our chats. Let's be real, there's nothing cool or funny about spam. Don't disrupt the chatting experience for everyone else. Spamming text, links, emojis, stickers, @mentions, lines, or anything else is auto-moderated and may result in warnings, disqualification, mutes, or even bans.

This Rule Also Covers:
Repeatedly sending the same message.
Flooding a chat or chats with an excessive number of messages.
Sending low-quality messages with the aim of climbing the leaderboard or gaining rewards.
Avoiding any other methods of spam that disrupt the chat experience for others.

Definitions:
Spam: Unsolicited and irrelevant messages or content that is repeatedly sent or posted, often in a disruptive or excessive manner.

2.4: No Advertising – Server or DMs

Advertising in any form is strictly prohibited unless you have the user's consent or they are on your friends list. We want to maintain a positive atmosphere without members trying to poach others. Whether in chat or DMs (unless permitted by the user), don't attempt to divert members to your server or any unrelated server. Advertising is disruptive and not well-received by our community or staff. Refrain from it as reports may follow.

This rule also covers:
Inviting users from this server to your server in text or voice chat.
Sharing links to your or another user's server, project, social media pages, etc., in any server chat.
Sending links to your or another user's server, project, social media pages, etc., in DMs to users here without their consent.
Ensuring that advertising of any kind remains a non-disruptive and respectful activity within the server.

2.5: No Suspicious or Harmful Links

We take the safety of our community seriously. Sending any form of suspicious or harmful links is strictly prohibited. This is a severe rule. Sharing links leading to fishy or harmful websites will result in a permanent ban from the server without the opportunity to appeal. This includes links to scams, fake Nitro offers, non-Discord affiliated login pages, IP grabbers, and any other malicious sites. We have an automated system to catch such activity, but if you come across a fishy link that we missed, please report it.

This rule also covers:
Sharing links to IP grabbers or fake account login pages.
Sending links to scams, malware, or viruses.
Any other links leading to malicious websites.

Definitions:
Suspicious or Harmful Links: URLs or web addresses that appear suspicious or potentially dangerous, capable of leading to phishing, malware, fraudulent websites, or other online security threats.

2.6: Use Caps Sparingly

Caps can add emphasis, but excessive use can be problematic. While we're not too strict about caps, we do not allow messages over 20 characters in length to consist of 70% caps or more. This is an auto-moderated event, and violating it may result in a warning or even a temporary mute.

This Rule Also Covers:
Consistently sending messages in all caps.
Ensuring that caps are used judiciously to maintain a pleasant chat environment.

2.7: No Unpingable Names

Names intentionally designed to obstruct pings without utilizing our ping block system are prohibited and may be subject to moderation. Having a name that cannot be pinged in chat makes it challenging, if not impossible, for friends and staff to mention or notify you without resorting to your user ID or you having a pingable role. Users with such unpingable names may undergo nickname moderation.

This rule also covers:
Utilizing zalgo text or characters in your name to hinder others from mentioning you without your user ID.
Utilizing special characters, symbols, or formatting in your name to prevent others from mentioning you using the @ symbol without your user ID.
Employing any other form of formatting in your name to impede others from mentioning you without your user ID.

3: Voice Chat Rules

Finally, let's get into the voice chat rules. These are straightforward guidelines that all members should comprehend and adhere to while engaging in voice chats to ensure a pleasant environment. Rest assured, they're easy to follow. As long as you respect these rules, you're good to go. Keep in mind, these rules are applicable to every voice chat within our server.

3.1: No Ear-Raping

Intentional or excessive ear-raping in any voice chat is strictly prohibited. Ear-raping is neither cool nor funny—it's purely annoying. This rule includes ear-raping through microphone gain, microphone modifications, screen sharing, and music bots. Violating this rule may result in a mute or ban.

This Rule Also Covers:
Excessive yelling, screaming, or playing audio/video with loud, disruptive noises.
Utilizing voice changers or modifiers to produce excessively loud or distorted sounds.
Employing software, hardware interfaces, or mixers with ear-raping volume levels to disturb the voice chat.
Spamming soundboard sounds in an attempt to disrupt the voice chat.
Any other form of ear-raping.

Definitions:
Ear Rape: The use of excessively loud, distorted, or jarring audio content, often with the intention of causing discomfort or harm to listeners.

3.2: No Voice Changers

The use of voice changers in voice chats is prohibited. It's not just about annoyance; voice changers can disrupt the quality of communication in the chat. Why not be yourself and engage in genuine conversations? There's no compelling reason to employ a voice changer or modifier while in a voice chat.

This rule also covers:
Using a voice changer to evade age detection by community members or staff.
Employing a voice changer to alter your voice significantly, making it sound much older or younger.
Utilizing a voice changer with the intent to disrupt the voice chat or create a disruptive environment.
Ensuring that voice chats maintain their quality and integrity by avoiding the use of voice changers or modifiers.

3.3: Use the VC Commands Channel for Bot Usage

Please utilize the ︰vc-commands channel for any bot commands related to voice chats. We've designated this channel specifically for bot commands related to voice chats, including VC levels and music. You can find this channel under the "《📢》 ┃ Voice Chats" category, accessible after joining any public or private voice chat. Just as in the text rules, this helps us maintain a clean server.

This rule also covers:
Usage of any music bots or audio player bots.
Usage of any bots that require commands to join your voice chat.
Voice level checks or voice stats checks when in a voice chat.

3.4: Share the Bots

While enjoying music in a voice chat is fun, don't monopolize music bots for an extended period. We have a limited number of music bots, and other members in different voice chats may also want to use them. We kindly request that you share the bots with others if there's a wait.

This rule also covers:
Purposefully preventing other members from accessing bots by keeping them in use.
Continuously using bots for an extended time when no other bot is available, despite knowing that other members are waiting to use them.
Ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to enjoy music bots without excessive hogging.

3.5: Respect Private VCs' Purpose

Use our private voice chats as intended. We provide over 10 private VCs for you to connect with your friends. High Tier and MVP premium users, if the VC host, can bypass these limits and manage users. The first person in a private VC becomes the host, and if the host leaves, the next user to join assumes that role. The positions of each member are marked and logged. These private VCs are designed to offer a disturbance-free environment for server members to enjoy privately. If you notice people in a private VC and there's room to join, please respect their privacy unless you receive an invitation.

This Rule Also Covers:
Joining someone else's call without an invitation.
Joining a private VC when you are unwelcome or unwanted.
Entering a private VC with the intention of disturbing or disrupting the ongoing call.
Misusing the High Tier or MVP rank or requesting users with these ranks to join, move, or disconnect others from private calls without their consent.

3.6: No Rank Abuse (High Tier, MVP, and Higher Ranks)

Under no circumstances should you abuse your rank, whether it's the High Tier rank, the MVP rank, or any higher or staff rank. Even friendly jokes shouldn't involve rank abuse. This rule also applies to the additional VC features provided with these premium ranks. We have a strike system for both premium rank users and staff. For premium users, the first strike results in the removal of the rank, with the possibility of regaining it in the future. The second strike leads to a ban from obtaining any listed rank.

This Rule Also Covers:
Moving or disconnecting members from a voice chat when they were already present before you or if you aren't the host of the call.
Joining or moving yourself or others to voice chats, regardless of their occupancy, without an invitation.
Moving or disconnecting members from their voice chats without their consent.
Any other form of rank abuse, regardless of the situation or intent.

The type of punishment you receive for a rule you break is at the sole discretion of your moderator. Punishments are only lifted if the moderator agrees.

4: AI Rules and Usage

In our server, we utilize Bibby, a well-trained AI, in two distinct forms: the AI Assistant and the AI Companion. Each type serves a specific purpose and operates under the same set of AI rules which are in alignment with Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines. These rules are in place to prevent AI abuse and maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for all users. Violating these AI rules may lead to an AI timeout, during which the AI will temporarily ignore you indefinitely. It's crucial for everyone to understand and follow these AI rules for a smoother experience in our server.

4.1: No Hate or Threats

During your interactions with the AI, it is imperative to avoid sending any hateful or threatening messages or comments. This prohibition extends to content that promotes violence or severe harm against any individual or group based on factors such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability status, or caste. Such behavior is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

4.2: No Harassment or Threats

During your interactions with the AI, it is crucial to refrain from sending any messages or comments that involve harassment or threats. This rule encompasses any form of harassment, including but not limited to content that contains violence or threats of serious harm directed at any target, whether it be the AI itself or other members of the server. Harassment and threats, especially when conversing with the AI is not tolerated and must be avoided to maintain a safe environment.

4.3: No Self-Harm or Self-Harm Instructions

Engaging in discussions or sharing content related to self-harm, including asking for or providing instructions on self-harm, is strictly prohibited. This rule applies universally across the server, not just when interacting with the AI, and aligns with Discord's community guidelines. It encompasses content that promotes, encourages, or depicts acts of self-harm, such as suicide, cutting, or eating disorders, as well as content that encourages or provides instructions on engaging in such harmful activities. Our community prioritizes the safety and well-being of all members, and we take this rule very seriously to maintain a supportive and safe environment for everyone.

4.4: No Sexual Harassment or Content, Especially Involving Minors

Sexual harassment or content, especially material involving minors, is strictly prohibited within our server. This rule applies universally and aligns with Discord's community guidelines. When interacting with Bibby or other members, it's important to refrain from using content intended to sexually arouse, including descriptions of sexual activity or the promotion of sexual services (excluding sex education and wellness discussions). For more details on sexual harassment or inappropriate advances, please refer to rule 1.3, and for NSFW/inappropriate content, review rule 1.4 in the "General Server Rules" section of this page. Our community prioritizes a safe and respectful environment for all members, and we are committed to upholding these standards.

4.5: No Graphic Content or Threats of Violence

The transmission of graphic content or the use of violence to threaten any member, individual, or group, whether involving the AI or not, is strictly prohibited within our server. This rule is not exclusive to the AI but extends to all server interactions, aligning with Discord's community guidelines. It encompasses any use of the AI to solicit or share content that vividly portrays death, violence, or severe physical injuries. For further clarification on threats of violence or the promotion of extremism, please consult rule 1.5 in the "General Server Rules" section of this page. Our community prioritizes a safe and respectful environment, and we uphold these standards diligently.

AI Usage

We have two AI-based models, the AI Assistant and the AI Companion, both functioning similarly yet with distinct purposes. These AIs can engage in conversations and assist with various tasks, including non-server related ones. However, it's essential to understand the differences in usage between the AI Assistant and AI Companion.

AI Assistant: This helpful AI can be accessed privately via DMs or publicly in the ︰bibby channel. The AI Assistant is known for its friendliness, creativity, and intelligence. It can assist with a wide range of tasks, such as helping users contact staff, directing users to specific channels for information, providing server statistics like levels, message counts, and punishment history, and much more. Additionally, users can use the AI Assistant to privately open tickets for server support, store support, or reporting bugs or users in the server. This is especially useful when trying to open tickets within the ︰support channel fails. To initiate a ticket, DM the AI Assistant with requests like "I need to speak to staff" or "I want to report a user." The assistant will respond with instructions and buttons for starting the ticket process. Ticket conversations will take place in DMs with Bibby once opened.

AI Companion: Similar to the AI Assistant, the AI Companion can engage in chat conversations when mentioned or replied to. It excels at providing debates, banter, jokes, and more. The Companion can handle semi-toxic behavior while ensuring it remains within established boundaries and can participate in or respond to romantic and loving conversations. To converse with the Companion, mention @Bibby in the chat or reply to its messages.

Both the AI Assistant and AI Companion work seamlessly to enhance the user experience. They have access to channel message history, punishment records, weekly message counts, total messages sent, server balances, and more. This information is utilized for contextual understanding and moderation purposes. Bibby uses this data, in conjunction with the server rules, to automatically moderate users based on the broken rule, context, and user's punishment history.

Common Sense

In our community, we uphold the value of common sense as a guiding principle for interaction. We encourage all members to use their better judgment and not purposefully test the boundaries of our rules. It's essential to understand that our staff retains the authority to moderate users based on reasonable agreement, often through discussions involving 2-3 or more staff members. This applies even if a particular rule isn't explicitly outlined in the rules above, but there is a reasonable suspicion that a user's actions may lead to further conflicts, which could ultimately violate our community rules or Discord's terms and community guidelines.

Furthermore, our moderators are empowered to evaluate situations and, if necessary, implement temporary chat mutes or server mutes on users until a higher-ranking staff member becomes available to address the situation more comprehensively.

We believe in promoting a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where members can express themselves freely while respecting the boundaries of our community's values and the broader Discord platform. Using common sense ensures a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone.

In addition to these fundamental principles, it's crucial to remember that our community thrives on open communication and constructive engagement. We encourage our members to reach out to staff with any concerns, suggestions, or questions they may have. Our dedicated team is here to assist and ensure that the community remains a welcoming place for all. We value transparency, fairness, and the well-being of our members above all else, striving to make this community the best it can be.

Formal Warnings and Moderation Guidelines

Our server employs a formal warning system to address users who violate the rules. When a user accumulates a certain number of warnings, our moderation team or the server's AI will take appropriate action, which may include chat muting, server timeouts, kicks, or bans. The following list outlines the moderation actions corresponding to the number of warnings received:

3 Warnings: A three-hour server mute or timeout.
4 Warnings: A six-hour server mute or timeout.
5 Warnings: A twelve-hour server mute or timeout.
6 Warnings: A one-day server mute or timeout.
7 Warnings: A three-day server mute or timeout.
8 Warnings: A one-week server mute or timeout.
9 Warnings: A kick from the server and a two-week server mute or timeout.
10 Warnings: Permanent ban from the community server.

You can use the "/whois" command by Bibby to see your moderation history. The "/warnings" command can be used to view your formal warnings. . Please note that these actions are taken to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment for all users. We encourage everyone to adhere to the server rules to avoid any disruptions.

AI and Auto-mod

Currently, our server utilizes three distinct AI models, the AI assistant, the AI companion, and the auto-mod AI.

AI Assistant: Bibby, a well-trained assistant, is available for assistance with any queries or requirements, whether they're related to the server or not.
AI Companion: Bibby, your friendly companion, offers a wide range of capabilities, including chatting, answering both server and non-server questions, engaging in banter, delivering jokes, playing games, and more.
Auto-mod AI: Working seamlessly alongside the other two AI models, Auto-mod AI plays a crucial role in maintaining the server's integrity by enforcing rules and guidelines.

The Auto-mod AI meticulously monitors messages across all chats to ensure compliance with the General Server rules, text chat regulations, and Discord's terms and community guidelines. If any message is found to be in violation, it will be promptly removed, and the user responsible will receive a warning. You can privately and securely review the warning details and appeal by utilizing the button provided with each AI moderation warning message. This process ensures that all server rules and Discord's terms and community guidelines are upheld consistently and safely.

Should you feel that a moderation decision is unjust, you can initiate an appeal using the button within the warning information page to involve our staff in addressing the matter appropriately. We are committed to fairness and maintaining a fun server environment.

Moderation Appeals

We are committed to ensuring that all punitive actions are administered fairly and impartially, without any prejudice or false positives. If you believe you have been unjustly chat muted, server muted/timed out, or banned from the server, whether by our AI or a staff member, you have the option to initiate a quick appeal process to involve higher-ranking staff members in reviewing the situation.

Moderation Terms:
Chat Mute: This entails a mute specifically in all text chats (not voice chats) and is usually imposed for instances of heavy trolling or minor rule infractions.
